People in several Welsh counties are being urged to avoid all but essential road travel as hazardous conditions develop due to significant snowfall. Another weather warning for snow is active across most of Wales from Sunday midday to Monday midday. This alert anticipates up to 3cm (1.2 inches) of snow in lower areas and up to 8cm (3.1 inches) on higher ground, with wintry showers expected overnight.
Authorities have already responded to the challenging weather. North Wales Police have issued advisories against travel in specific locations, citing hazardous conditions on the A55 in Gwynedd and Anglesey. A bus operator has also confirmed the suspension of several services.
