This follows significant flooding on Wednesday, which left residents in Perry Barr, Birmingham, with homes and vehicles submerged under substantial water levels.

Looking ahead, the bank holiday weekend is predicted to be unsettled with thundery showers and heavy rain, particularly in northern England and Scotland. While some sunny spells are expected, forecasters advise keeping a close eye on weather updates for any planned outdoor activities.
