UK Snow Alert: Counties Brace for Winter Blast!

Weather warnings have alerted Britain to an incoming weather front expected to bring rain and snow to Northern Ireland and central and southern parts of the country. The yellow weather warning for ice concluded today at 10 am. However, several counties are still anticipating snow throughout the remainder of the week.

Northern England and Scotland are primarily in the predicted path of the snowfall. England is likely to experience rain starting Thursday afternoon. Scotland, however, faces intermittent snowfall until Sunday, with rates potentially reaching 4mm per hour. On Thursday morning, snow is anticipated over higher elevations in the Peak District, east of Manchester, and further north in County Durham, clearing by approximately 1 pm.
