UK Set for 20C Heatwave: Hottest April Day Since 1946!

Much of eastern and southeastern England, including East Anglia, Essex, Kent, East and West Sussex, Greater London, and Oxfordshire, can expect temperatures to easily reach 18 or 19 degrees Celsius on both Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday, April 22nd, London and Cambridgeshire are forecast to hit 20C, potentially becoming the hottest locations in the country.
The southeast of England is predicted to experience the most sunshine, while the Midlands and the North will see temperatures around the high teens. Cooler conditions are expected in Wales and Northern Ireland, with highs of 13 to 14C. Scotland's temperatures may struggle to exceed 11 or 12C in cities like Edinburgh and Glasgow, though the Highlands might reach 15 or 16C.
