Temperatures are expected to reach a balmy 25C in London, Dorset, Sussex, and South Wales, with similar warmth forecast for the North West, Yorkshire, and the East Midlands. Mid and West Wales will experience highs of 24C, while northern regions will be slightly cooler. Southern Wales is set to enjoy the warmest weather, with temperatures around 25C.

Looking ahead to the week of September 23 to October 2, the Met Office forecasts a change. Atlantic systems will bring spells of rain, showers, and occasional strong winds, particularly to northern and western areas. However, periods of drier weather are anticipated, especially in the south and east, potentially lasting a few days.
