Northeast winds will also pick up, with gusts potentially exceeding 30 mph at times. Sunday is predicted to bring scattered showers and mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures will rise into the 60s and 70s, accompanied by breezy east to northeast winds. Central Texas could receive an additional quarter-inch to one inch of rainfall by Sunday afternoon. The active weather pattern is anticipated to persist into the middle of next week, with another disturbance expected to bring showers and thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday. By the end of the workweek, high temperatures are forecast to climb back into the 80s, with isolated storm chances extending into the following weekend.
