Traffic restrictions were announced by Malkajgiri police on June 1 in anticipation of Telangana Formation Day celebrations on June 2. These measures are set to be in effect from 7 AM to 12 noon.
The primary celebrations will be held at the Parade Ground in Secunderabad, with Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy presiding over the event.
Commuters traveling to various parts of the city will need to follow alternative routes. For instance, traffic from Begumpet to Sangeeth Junction is rerouted via Paradise-Patny-Clock Tower. Those heading towards Trimulgherry are advised to use the flyovers via St. John's Rotary, Shenoy, AOC, and KV.
To ensure smooth proceedings, heavy vehicles, RTC buses, and private buses are prohibited from entering the affected areas during the celebration period. The authorities have specified that only emergency vehicles will be granted passage through the restricted zones.
