Stormy November Ahead: Forecasters Warn of Wet and Windy Weather

According to the latest weather forecasts, the UK is set to experience a turbulent start to November, with unsettled conditions and the potential for record-breaking rainfall. Forecasters have warned that this weekend will bring a spell of wet and windy weather, with an area of low pressure likely to bring strong winds and heavy downpours, particularly to western parts of the country.

Leading bookmaker Coral has slashed the odds to 2-1 on next month ending as the wettest November on record in the UK, and the firm also makes it 6-4 for the wind speed to reach as high as 100mph in the mainland UK this weekend.
