Thunderstorms Forecast to Hit Esk, Warwick, and Surrounding Areas

On Friday, November 14th, 2025, severe storms swept through the Brisbane area, leaving over 3,200 properties without power. The storms, which hit the city around 6 PM, dumped almost 22 millimetres of rain between 5 PM and 7 PM.
As of 1:20 PM on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, the Bureau of Meteorology has warned that new severe thunderstorms are forming west of Brisbane. These storms are forecast to affect the Esk, southern Lake Wivenhoe, and the area west of Warwick by 1:50 PM, and then move on to impact Allora, the area north-west of Warwick, and the area north of Warwick by 2:20 PM.
Residents in the affected areas have been warned to be on the lookout for possible hail on Saturday afternoon. The Bureau of Meteorology is closely monitoring the situation and will continue to provide updates as the storms develop.
