22 Feb
Summary
- Temperatures in Rajasthan rose sharply by nearly 4°C in 24 hours.
- Dry weather and clear skies are causing the significant temperature increase.
- No rainfall is predicted across Rajasthan for the next seven days.

Rajasthan has seen a dramatic increase in temperatures over the last 24 hours, with an average rise of nearly 4°C, signaling the onset of warmer pre-summer weather. Fatehpur registered the lowest minimum temperature at 9.4°C, while Phalodi experienced the highest maximum at 31.8°C.
Jaipur's minimum temperature reached 15.2°C, approximately 2°C above normal, under sunny skies with a maximum of 28.3°C. Officials cite dry atmospheric conditions and the absence of western disturbances as the cause for this temperature hike.
The Meteorological Department predicts a continued spell of stable and dry weather for the upcoming week, ruling out any chances of rain. Several districts are anticipated to reach or exceed 30°C in their maximum temperatures.
While northern parts of the state are experiencing a milder climate, western Rajasthan is notably feeling an intensification of daytime heat. This dry spell is expected to persist, leading to consistently warmer days and nights.
