As these storms move east, areas south of I-80 will experience a significant rise in heat and humidity.
Tuesday afternoon, heat indexes are projected to reach the low 100s, prompting a Heat Advisory for locations along and south of Highway 34. Similar storm chances might reoccur Wednesday morning, with a more widespread storm system anticipated for Thursday, which will also bring cooler temperatures, potentially in the 70s.
