Forecasters are warning of poor horizontal visibility inshore due to the development of misty to foggy conditions in several areas. This advisory comes as part of the daily weather report, which also predicts a cold night with scattered clouds.
These potentially dense foggy conditions are expected to set in by late night, significantly impacting visibility. Inshore visibility is forecast to range between 4 to 8 kilometers, but is expected to decrease to 2 kilometers or less in affected locations. Offshore, the weather will be hazy at times with some clouds.
Light to moderate southeasterly winds are expected inshore, ranging from 03 to 12 knots. Offshore, winds will be from the southeast at 03 to 13 knots. The sea state is predicted to be calm, with waves ranging from 1 to 2 feet inshore and 1 to 3 feet offshore.
