According to the latest weather reports, the UK is set to experience severe weather conditions over the coming days, with yellow weather warnings for wind in place from Sunday evening through Monday afternoon. The Met Office has warned of "unsettled conditions" across the country, with powerful gusts of up to 80mph expected to sweep through southern England and Wales.
The warning covers a wide area, stretching from the south coast up to the Midlands, and is in effect from 8pm on Sunday, September 10th, until 6pm on Monday, September 11th. Forecasters say the strong winds will be accompanied by thunderstorms and heavy showers, with the potential for hail and thunder, particularly in western regions.
While the far north-west of Scotland is also expected to see windy weather and rain on Thursday, the rest of the country will experience a mix of sunshine and blustery showers over the weekend. Residents across the affected areas are advised to prepare for the unsettled conditions and potential disruptions to travel and power supplies.
