Otsego County Prepares Warming Shelters for Extreme Cold

In anticipation of these hazardous conditions, the county's Office of Emergency Services has designated several warming shelters ready for activation.
These shelters are prepared to offer a safe and warm environment for residents should the extreme cold materialize. The designated locations include the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown, a warming station at 291 Chestnut Street in Oneonta, and facilities at the Oneonta Armory, SUNY Oneonta, Richfield Springs Central School, and the Richfield Springs Fire Department.
