Severe thunderstorms and dangerously hot conditions are expected across New Jersey on Friday, June 13, 2026. Record high temperatures could be challenged in Trenton, Atlantic City, and Newark on Friday. A significant drop in humidity is expected Friday night as a cold front moves through. This will bring much less humid conditions for Saturday, with temperatures remaining in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. Similar temperatures are forecast for Sunday, with a chance of showers late in the day as a second cold front approaches. Conditions are expected to return to more typical mid-June weather from Monday through Wednesday, with highs in the mid-70s to mid-80s.
