Pune district has a red alert due to persistent heavy rain over the past few days, with similar conditions expected to continue for at least two more days. This prolonged rainfall has lowered temperatures across the city.
Looking ahead, the current spell of heavy showers across most of Maharashtra is predicted to ease after five days, potentially bringing sunshine by the end of July. However, the delayed monsoon onset and expected breaks may concern farmers.
