In the early hours of Friday, severe thunderstorms swept across parts of the UK, leading to a direct lightning strike on a house in Cleethorpes. The powerful bolt hit the home's roof, causing considerable damage.

Footage captured by a neighbor's doorbell camera documented the dramatic moment of impact. Further inspection during daylight hours revealed that the chimney had been severely damaged, with bricks dislodged and scattered across the roof.
