To accommodate the influx, extra toilets, including mobile units, have been established across the pilgrimage area.
In Dehradun district, the administration announced the closure of schools in Haripurkalan, Rishikesh, from July 31 to August 11. This decision aims to mitigate difficulties for students due to the expected surge in pilgrim turnout during the yatra.
