Delhi Weather Alert: Dust Storms and Thunderstorms Loom

Delhi is anticipated to experience partly cloudy conditions throughout the day. However, residents should prepare for disruptive weather as dust-laden winds are expected, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert forecasting strong thunderstorms and dust storms across the national capital.

This volatile weather pattern is attributed to an active western disturbance and a cyclonic circulation. These meteorological phenomena are currently influencing weather conditions across significant portions of north, east, and central India, including the Delhi-NCR region. Light rainfall may also accompany the thunderstorms.
