Across the country, other states, including Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, eastern Madhya Pradesh, eastern Uttar Pradesh, and Gangetic West Bengal, are also expected to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall today. The IMD has warned of the risk of river overflows and landslides in vulnerable regions, with coastal Odisha and Andhra Pradesh already reporting gusty winds and flooding in low-lying areas.
