Cyclone Ditwah Nears Tamil Nadu Coast

Cyclonic storm Ditwah is projected to make landfall in the southwest Bay of Bengal near the north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts by early November 30, 2025. The storm is expected to travel parallel to the Tamil Nadu coastline.
Weather forecasts indicate varying conditions across major Indian cities. While Chennai and Bengaluru anticipate moderate rainfall, Mumbai and Delhi are not expected to receive any precipitation on November 30. Hyderabad and Kolkata are also forecast to remain dry.
In response to the situation, the Indian Air Force will initiate evacuation flights from Colombo at 5 AM on November 30 to repatriate Indian citizens stranded due to the cyclone.
