27 May
Summary
- A Pacific storm will bring persistent clouds and patchy drizzle through the week.
- Mountains and deserts face a Wind Advisory with gusts up to 65mph.

A persistent Pacific storm is set to bring several days of cloudy weather and scattered drizzle to California. Much of the coast and inland valleys will remain under cloud cover through Tuesday and Wednesday, with only limited sun breaks expected. Patchy mist or drizzle is possible, particularly during overnight and morning hours.
The mountains and deserts will experience strong westerly winds, prompting a Wind Advisory from Tuesday afternoon until Thursday morning. Residents are advised to prepare for gusts ranging from 45 to 65 mph and to secure outdoor items.
By Thursday, a transition to clearer skies and warmer conditions is anticipated. This trend is expected to continue into Friday and the early part of the following week, with significant temperature increases forecast. Coastal areas could reach near 70°F, inland regions will see 70s and 80s, and desert temperatures are projected to climb back to 100°F by Sunday.
