The extensive works included updating the organ and the Victoria Concert Hall. However, the newly found bomb damage from 1941, exacerbated by subsequent subpar repair efforts, has introduced unforeseen complexities to the project. These issues have directly impacted the project timeline.
Consequently, the anticipated completion date, initially set for spring 2026, has been revised. The refurbishment is now expected to conclude by the end of next year, extending the closure of this historic venue for the public.
