- The effort was a "much bigger challenge" than a previous donation drive from a care home in Towcester, Northamptonshire
- The donation was organized by the Milton Keynes-based Help Ukraine BAMK UK Community Interest Company (CIC)

In a remarkable display of compassion and determination, a group of volunteers from the Milton Keynes-based Help Ukraine BAMK UK Community Interest Company (CIC) undertook a herculean task last month to transport hundreds of vital items from a shuttered care home in Hyde, Greater Manchester to Ukraine.
The volunteers loaded up a lorry with a wide range of donations, including motorized hospital beds, mobility aids, bedding, towels, and even a piano. Nataliya Lawson, a representative from the CIC, revealed that this endeavor proved to be a "much bigger challenge" than their previous donation drive from a care home in Towcester, Northamptonshire back in September.
Despite the logistical complexities, the volunteers persevered, driven by a steadfast commitment to providing essential support to those in need in Ukraine. Their selfless efforts serve as a testament to the power of community and the transformative impact that can be achieved through collective action.
