Flights to Saudi Arabia Suspended Until November 14
30 Oct
Summary
- Air India and Air India Express flights to Saudi Arabia extended.
- Cancellations due to prevailing regional geopolitical situation.
- Passengers can rebook or get a full refund for cancelled flights.

Air India and Air India Express flights connecting to Saudi Arabian cities have been cancelled until November 14, 2026. This decision stems from the escalating geopolitical tensions in West Asia, which have impacted infrastructure, including airports in Saudi Arabia.
The cancellations specifically affect flights to Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam. Previously, services were cancelled until November 7 for Riyadh and Dammam, and until October 31 for Jeddah. Passengers holding confirmed tickets issued on or before October 30 for travel up to November 14 are eligible for a one-time complimentary rebooking or a full refund upon cancellation.
Passengers can rebook their flights to or from any operational station within Saudi Arabia for their respective airlines. Air India Express passengers also have the option to rebook to Bahrain. Other carriers, including IndiGo and Akasa Air, have also cancelled their flights to and from Saudi Arabia, with varying extension dates.
