Russia Offers India Su-57 Stealth Tech

Russia has unequivocally stated its commitment to supporting India's future aircraft requirements, extending an offer for technology transfer of the Su-57 fifth-generation stealth fighter. Officials from Russia's defense conglomerate Rostec emphasized that any demands from India regarding this advanced aircraft are "totally acceptable." This declaration comes amid high-level discussions between Indian and Russian officials, signaling a deepening strategic defense alliance.

Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec, highlighted Russia's consistent support for India's defense needs, noting that arms and military equipment have been supplied even under sanctions. He affirmed that Russia continues to provide India with necessary military equipment, fostering mutual interests and cooperation. This long-standing relationship is a cornerstone of their bilateral ties, ensuring India's security and technological advancement.

Discussions also included potential joint development of a two-seat modification of the Su-57E or FGFA. This collaboration would empower India to manufacture critical components independently, mitigating concerns about supply chain disruptions due to sanctions. Russia's willingness to share technology, including engines, radar, and AI elements, signifies a strategic move to bolster India's indigenous defense capabilities.
