Despite Russia's renewed interest and potential adjustments to terms aligned with India's 'Make in India' initiative, India's hesitation persists. Strategic calculations, including technology access, supply chain resilience, and diversification of defense partnerships, influence New Delhi's decisions, as it also deepens ties with Western nations like France and the United States.
