Veteran Bob Goodman, 73, who served in the Royal Navy, recounted how his nine years of service and subsequent career shaped his life, expressing enduring pride in the UK's naval strength. RAF recruiter Andrew Lane, 43, spoke about his career change into the RAF at age 25, which led to extensive world travel and significant personal opportunities. Lane emphasized that such events are crucial for the public to interact with service members and understand their experiences.
