The event occurred approximately at the same time a Ukrainian drone attack caused a fire at oil facilities in Russia's Ust-Luga port, a significant petroleum export hub located about 25 km from the Estonian border.
Further into the Baltic region, Latvia reported its own airspace breaches. Authorities in Latvia stated that two drones entered their airspace; one originated from Russia, while the second came from Belarus. The precise origins of all drone incursions remain unconfirmed.
