Zoom is enhancing its platform with a new Unified Context Layer and several AI-powered products, aiming to connect scattered business conversations into actionable outcomes. This layer links meeting transcripts, chats, and documents, providing a unified view for users and AI agents.
Innovations include personalized meeting summaries, enriched notes linked to transcripts, and workflow automation. These features, expected between November 2026 and Q1 2027, are designed to streamline tasks and improve collaboration.
The company is also enabling developers to access Zoom capabilities via APIs and Model Context Protocol servers. These integrations allow Zoom functionalities to be used within other AI environments like Claude and Copilot starting October 2026.
New features aim to make conversations clearer and more natural, with voice translation and pose correction. Customer experience is also being enhanced with dynamic customer profiles and AI-powered self-service kiosks in retail.
Zoom is introducing robust management controls for AI, including centralized AI management and sensitivity label synchronization. Deepfake risk detection tools are also being rolled out by December 2026.
Finally, Zoom Events is integrating AI for event planning, content creation, and analytics, with new features expected from October 2026 onwards. These advancements position Zoom as a system of action for modern work.
