YouTube is introducing several new features for its Premium subscribers, with a particular emphasis on enhancing the podcast listening experience. An auto-speed option, now available on Android and soon on iOS, intelligently adjusts playback speed to optimize listening during segments with slower speech or dense information.

Select Premium and YouTube Music Premium subscribers in certain countries can now access an AI-driven podcast recommendation tool. Integrated into the YouTube Music app, this feature allows users to generate personalized radio stations or playlists based on their mood, preferred genres, or shows they already enjoy.

Furthermore, Android users are gaining access to an 'on-the-go' mode. This feature provides more convenient background playback controls, enabling simpler skipping forward and backward. This functionality is expected to be available on iOS devices in the coming months.
