These updated models feature a new dedicated green button, allowing children to directly access their favorite audiobooks, music, or podcasts without needing to locate a Yoto Card or use a parent's smartphone.
The fourth-generation Yoto Player is now priced at $150, and the Yoto Mini at $110. Both devices have received hardware improvements, including increased storage, faster Wi-Fi, and better sound quality. The Yoto Mini has been upgraded with IP67 water and dust resistance, enhancing its durability for outdoor adventures. The larger Yoto Player now features a dynamic light-up back panel that changes color based on the content being played, also serving as a customizable night light and alarm clock.
Despite the upgrades, the battery life has seen a slight decrease to an estimated 14 hours. The price points represent a significant increase over the previous models. The Yoto Mini began shipping on September 30, 2026, with the larger Yoto Player scheduled to ship on October 15, 2026. These new features aim to streamline content access and improve the overall user experience for young listeners.
