The Xreal Aura smartglasses, powered by Android XR and featuring Gemini AI, are now available for pre-order. Introduced earlier this year, the device starts at $1,279 for those who have already placed a reservation deposit. Weighing under 95 grams, Aura connects to a separate compute puck running Android XR and offering Google Play access.
Equipped with the Snapdragon Reality Elite chip, Aura delivers advanced augmented and mixed reality capabilities. Its see-through lenses provide a 70-degree field of view with exceptionally sharp and bright visuals, complemented by Bose-engineered audio. The compute puck includes a trackpad and fingerprint sensor for navigation.
Xreal Aura smartglasses will be offered in two sizes and two configurations: 12GB RAM/256GB storage or 16GB RAM/512GB storage, with the latter priced at $1,499. Shipping is set to commence shortly in the US, Canada, Japan, and South Korea, with a broader global release planned for 2027.
