Xbox's Platinum Trophies Arrive: Mythic Achievements Revealed!

Xbox is preparing to launch its own version of PlayStation's platinum trophies, referred to as 'Mythic achievements.' These new accolades were discovered within an update to the Xbox PC app. Upon completing all achievements within a game, players will earn a Mythic achievement.

Mythic achievements will be accompanied by a distinct unlock sound and players will reportedly be able to track their progress on the Xbox dashboard. These achievements will also be visible on player profiles, allowing users to showcase their completion count. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma had previously announced that a platinum trophy equivalent would be arriving later in the year.

While Microsoft has not yet officially announced Mythic achievements, their presence in early Xbox software suggests an imminent official release. This development signals a significant addition to the Xbox gaming experience, aligning it with a feature highly valued by many players.
