New Xbox Game Pass Tier Leaked

Microsoft may be introducing a new subscription option for Xbox Game Pass, reportedly named the Starter Edition. This potential tier, hinted at through a social media leak from Discord Previews, suggests a partnership between Xbox and Discord. The leaked promotional image indicates that Discord Nitro could soon include this Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition. This bundle is expected to grant access to over 50 games, such as Stardew Valley and Fallout 4, along with a monthly allotment of 10 hours for cloud gaming. If launched, Discord Nitro, which currently costs $9.99 per month, would align in price with the lowest Xbox Game Pass Essential tier. However, the Starter Edition's cloud gaming access would be limited to 10 hours, contrasting with the unlimited cloud gaming offered by the Essential tier. Microsoft has not yet officially confirmed the existence or launch date of the Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition.
