Voicemod has introduced the Key Pocket, a portable device that magnetically attaches to smartphones, allowing for real-time voice modification. This innovation aims to enhance online identity by extending personal expression to sound, complementing visual customization. The device processes audio locally, ensuring user privacy and optimal performance.
The Key Pocket supports extensive customization with access to hundreds of thousands of voices and sound effects. It functions with phones, tablets, and consoles like PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Connectivity options include USB-C, 3.5mm wired, and Bluetooth.
Voicemod's technology, developed over 14 years, utilizes advanced digital signal processing and AI. Unlike generative AI, its models are compact and client-side, enabling low-latency voice adjustments. The company sees voice modulation as a crucial aspect of digital self-expression, enabling users to craft their unique "sonic identity."
