Similarly, Meta's Llama models appeared in 106 papers. China's own advancements, such as Alibaba's Qwen large language model, are also integrated into research involving US organizations, appearing in 63 such papers.
Experts suggest this level of cooperation is unsurprising, with AI ecosystems in both nations being deeply interconnected. This collaboration benefits both countries, regardless of geopolitical dynamics.
