The Ulefone Armor Pad 5 Ultra emerges as a highly specialized rugged tablet, eschewing typical consumer designs for a field-ready workhorse.
A standout feature is its integrated DLP projector, delivering 200 lumens with smart autofocus, capable of projecting images up to 80 inches, ideal for on-site presentations or blueprint projections.
Durability is paramount, evidenced by IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certifications. The device is powered by a formidable 24,200 mAh battery, supporting 120W fast charging and offering extensive standby time.
Under the hood, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset, 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage provide robust performance. It also includes advanced camera systems with a 64MP Sony main sensor and a 64MP night vision sensor.
Dual 1,000-lumen LED floodlights, warning lights, and a built-in cooling fan further equip it for extreme conditions. However, its substantial 3.5lb (1.6 kg) weight necessitates a conversation about portability.
This tablet is priced at $800/£592/€683 and is available now, targeting professionals like engineers, emergency responders, and utility workers who require a device that can withstand harsh environments and function as a portable workstation.
