Twitter faced a significant global service disruption, impacting users worldwide and preventing access to accounts. The extent of the outage was highlighted by a surge in user complaints, with DownDetector registering over 800 reports at the time of this writing.

Analysis of the reported issues reveals a multifaceted problem. Nearly half of the affected users, approximately 50 percent, encountered difficulties specifically with the Twitter application. A substantial portion, 23 percent, reported problems with their main feed and timeline not loading correctly. Additionally, around 10 percent of users experienced issues while attempting to access the platform via its website, underscoring the broad impact of this widespread downtime.
