TVS Motor Company has launched the aggressive-looking TVS Apache RTR 125, positioning it as the sportiest 125 cc naked motorcycle available. This new model sports sharp bodywork, a flat handlebar with knuckle guards, and a split-seat setup, making it a standout in its segment.
The Apache RTR 125 is powered by a 125 cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine. This powertrain delivers 14.7 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 12 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. It is complemented by a 6-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear transitions.
For optimal handling and control, the motorcycle is equipped with KYB suspension and a ByBre braking system. This includes dual-channel ABS for added safety. A significant technological feature is the 5-inch TFT screen offering full map mirroring, alongside dedicated ride modes.
Initially, the TVS Apache RTR 125 is targeted at European markets. While a future launch in India has not been ruled out, its advanced features like the liquid-cooled engine, dual-channel ABS, and map mirroring suggest a potentially higher price point upon its arrival in the Indian market.
