Trump T1 Phone Resurfaces With New Specs
7 Feb
Summary
- The Trump T1 phone is now expected to ship later this year.
- New specs include a Snapdragon 7 series chipset and 512GB storage.
- Final assembly will occur in the US, but manufacturing is elsewhere.

The Trump T1 smartphone, initially announced in June, appears to be on track for release after a period of considerable uncertainty and multiple delays. Trump Mobile executives Don Hendrickson and Eric Thomas recently provided an update, showcasing a near-production-ready model.
Significant upgrades have been made to the handset's specifications. It will now feature a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chipset, 512GB of expandable storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery. The camera system is also improved, with at least two 50MP sensors. The original $499 price has been revised; the final cost will be under $1,000, with deposits honored.
While Trump Mobile previously claimed the phone would be made in the USA, they have clarified that only the final assembly will occur domestically, with most manufacturing handled internationally. Shipping is slated to begin later this year, pending T-Mobile certification expected in mid-March. FCC filings have reportedly been completed.
