French audio brand Triangle has unveiled its latest Solstice range of audio products, set to go on sale later in June. This new family includes the Solstice 8 floorstanding speakers, the more compact Solstice 3 bookshelf speakers, and the C3 centre channel speaker. The flagship Solstice 8 pair is priced at $2,799 / £1,999, while the Solstice 3 pair costs $1,349 / £999, and the C3 centre channel is available for $750 / £579.
A standout feature across all three models is a newly developed, bespoke horn tweeter. This arch-shaped tweeter, constructed from die-cast aluminum, is specifically engineered to minimize resonance, placing an emphasis on high-frequency performance. This focus on the tweeter distinguishes the range in a market often prioritizing bass frequencies.
Complementing the tweeter are 16cm mid-woofers, featuring cellulose pulp cones for a neutral sound profile. The Solstice 3 and C3 utilize single terminals for connection, whereas the Solstice 8 offers dual terminals to support bi-wiring and bi-amping. Customers can choose from teak, birch, black ash, or white finishes for the speaker cabinets.
