Chinese manufacturer TOPC has unveiled the TXA2, a compact AI workstation with a distinctive copper finish, priced at nearly $7,000. This high-performance machine integrates 192GB of LPDDR5X memory, supporting up to four SSDs and capable of simultaneous 8K display output across four monitors. The workstation is powered by AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor, featuring 16 CPU cores and 32 threads, complemented by Radeon 8065S graphics.
The integrated graphics can leverage up to 160GB of system memory for local AI model execution. While the 192GB of RAM is not upgradeable, storage can be expanded via four M.2 2280 NVMe slots. Connectivity options include 10GbE and 2.5GbE networking, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a comprehensive array of USB ports, HDMI, and DisplayPort outputs.
Despite its compact 2.5-liter form factor, the TOPC TXA2 employs a robust cooling system with four fans to manage its thermal load. Pricing starts at $6,499 for the 2TB SSD configuration, rising to $6,799 for the 4TB model, with an additional delivery charge. European customers may face costs exceeding €7,200 after VAT. The company offers a one-year warranty, and the purchase comes with the inherent risk associated with buying from a lesser-known brand.
