TikTok's New Voice & Photo Comments Arrive!

TikTok is rolling out a suite of new features designed to enrich the user experience on its platform. Over the next month, users aged 18 and older will gain the ability to leave voice comments, which can be up to 60 seconds in length, offering a new way to engage with video content.

For content creators, TikTok is introducing comment polls, a tool that allows them to present up to five options for their followers to vote on directly within the comment section. This feature is already available globally.

Further enhancements include expanded photo commenting options. Users can now upload live photos, which include a brief motion and sound element, and will soon be able to post carousels of up to nine images in a single comment, a rollout expected over the coming month.

These additions follow recent updates, such as the integration of travel booking services and the introduction of a local feed that utilizes user location data, signaling TikTok's continuous evolution.
