Ticketmaster has introduced a new application within Google's Gemini AI assistant, enabling users to search for live events via conversational prompts. This integration, announced on August 12, 2026, allows fans to inquire about concerts, sports, theater, and festivals using everyday language.

Users can invoke @Ticketmaster within Gemini to receive event information, seating availability, and ticket prices. Selecting an option directs the user to Ticketmaster with pre-selected seats, streamlining the purchasing process. The feature is initially available in English for US-based users on Gemini's web, iOS, and Android platforms.

This move by Ticketmaster is part of its ongoing AI strategy, with similar integrations already live on platforms like ChatGPT and Claude. The company aims to provide event organizers with visibility on emerging AI platforms without additional setup requirements. Gemini's app recently surpassed 1 billion monthly active users as of August 11, 2026.

Ticketmaster's financial performance in Q2 2026 showed significant growth, with revenue reaching USD $852 million, a 15% year-over-year increase.
