Summary
- TCL's new monitor offers up to 1040Hz refresh rate in a special dual mode.
- The display features Mini LED technology for enhanced brightness and color.
- TCL also launched a 31.5-inch 4K 240Hz OLED monitor with a 0.03ms response time.

TCL has introduced a groundbreaking 27-inch display, the 27P2A Ultra, featuring a remarkable dual-mode refresh rate of up to 1,040Hz at 720p resolution. For general use, it supports 550Hz at 2K. This monitor utilizes Mini LED technology, providing superior brightness for HDR content and exceptionally vibrant colors.
This new monitor competes in the rapidly evolving high-refresh-rate market. While achieving 1,040Hz offers a minimal advantage in input lag for competitive gamers, the trade-off is a significantly reduced resolution. The Mini LED panel aims to compensate with superior visual quality compared to some competitors' offerings.
Beyond the ultra-high refresh rate monitor, TCL has also launched a 31.5-inch X-Series OLED monitor, the 32X3A. This display boasts 4K resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and an ultra-fast 0.03ms response time, with a dual-mode option for 480Hz at 1080p. The 32X3A is priced at 5,999 CNY, approximately $870, with the 27P2A Ultra's pricing yet to be announced.
