20 Feb
Summary
- Updated Tata Punch EV features design tweaks and new features.
- Expect a larger touchscreen and potentially a bigger battery.
- The refreshed micro-SUV rivals the Citroen eC3.

The highly anticipated Tata Punch EV is receiving its first major update today, introducing subtle design changes and enhanced features. The exterior now boasts a cleaner front end with a revised bumper and a new connected LED light bar at the rear, aligning it with the petrol Punch. Inside, higher variants are expected to feature a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, alongside existing features like a digital driver's display and a 360-degree camera.
While Tata Motors is expected to retain the current battery options, there's a possibility of a new, higher-capacity battery pack being introduced. This potential upgrade could significantly boost the vehicle's real-world range. The outgoing Punch EV, priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 14.44 lakh, is likely to see a modest price increase with this update. The refreshed Punch EV will continue its rivalry with the Citroen eC3 in the competitive under-Rs 15 lakh EV market.
