Tata Motors has launched the latest Punch EV facelift in India, with prices starting at ₹9.69 lakh. This new electric SUV is designed to be more competitive with its internal combustion engine siblings.
The Punch EV Facelift is available with two battery pack choices: a 30 kWh and a larger 40 kWh LFP prismatic cell battery. The 40 kWh version boasts an ARAI-certified range of 468 km, with an estimated real-world range of 355 km. Tata Motors is also providing a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty for the 40 kWh pack, valid for 15 years with unlimited kilometers.
Fast charging is a key highlight, enabling the Punch EV to charge from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes. The vehicle can gain approximately 135 km of real-world range from a 15-minute charge. Users can access over 2.3 lakh charging points nationwide via the IRA.ev app.
Visually, the facelifted Punch EV features three new color variants: Bengal Rouge, Fearless Yellow, and Caramel. Its design now aligns more closely with the recently revealed ICE Punch. The interior has also been upgraded, with higher trims receiving a 10.25-inch HARMAN display supporting wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and an Arcade.ev 2.0 app suite. Additional premium features include ventilated front seats, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and a touch-based HVAC control panel. The vehicle offers 366 liters of boot space and a 14-liter frunk for smaller items.
