- Router 4 offers increased range and faster connections.
- This upgrade enhances performance in congested environments.

Starlink has begun bundling its new Wi-Fi 7 Router 4 with its Residential 200 Mbps and Max plans for new customers in the United States and Canada. This advanced router replaces the previous Wi-Fi 6 model, promising faster peak speeds, quicker client connections, and an extended range.
The Router 4 is designed to improve performance, especially in congested areas, and offers greater consistency. It covers up to 3,500 square feet, a significant increase from the Router Mini's approximately 2,000 square feet. While Wi-Fi 7 technology can achieve very high speeds, Starlink's satellite delivery typically ranges from 100-300Mbps.
Currently, the Router 4 is not available for separate purchase on the Starlink Shop. However, select users have had the opportunity to test it, reporting a smooth setup process and a noticeable reduction in the speed gap between wireless and wired connections. This rollout aligns with Starlink's introduction of discounts, potentially accelerating growth for its satellite internet service.
