The benefit is contingent on activating service and is subject to clawback if the service is canceled within 30 days. This promotion follows other recent incentives, including discounts on Starlink Residential plans and the introduction of a new Residential Max service. SpaceX is seeking to expand its user base beyond its existing 2 million customers in the US.
The Starlink Mini dish is compatible with the Starlink Roam tier in the US, which offers multi-location access. The cheapest Roam plan includes 100GB of data for $50 per month, with an unlimited data option available for $165 per month. A slower, 500Kbps unlimited data option is also available via Standby Mode, though its in-motion use was recently restricted.
